Empowering Young Mothers & Girls in Korogocho Through Healing and Hope

At Empowered Dreams Initiative (EDI), we run the Soul Healing & Searching Program, a safe space designed for young mothers and girls in the Korogocho slums who carry deep emotional wounds caused by poverty, violence, trauma, and daily stress.

Our program provides:

• Support for girls experiencing abuse, depression, and stigma

• 310+ young mothers and girls received mental health support
  
  

• 100+ families supported through home visits and counselling referrals
  
  

This program is one of the only structured mental health support systems in Korogocho, making it crucial to the well-being of vulnerable women and girls.
