Fighting Hunger for Children & Families in Korogocho
Hunger is one of the biggest challenges in the Korogocho slums. Many children go to bed hungry or survive on one meal a day. EDI runs a continuous feeding program providing:
Nutritious meals for vulnerable children
Emergency food packages for families
Monthly feeding outreaches
Nutrition support for young mothers
Impact (Past 12 Months):
4,000+ children fed through our community feeding program
300+ families received emergency food packs
50+ young mothers volunteer to prepare meals for the children
Our feeding program is one of the most impactful child support initiatives in Korogocho.
