Empowered Dreams Initiative (EDI) is a non-profit community-based organization (CBO) based in Korogocho Slums, Nairobi, Kenya, dedicated to empowering vulnerable children, girls, and young mothers living in underserved communities.
Our organization works at the grassroots level to address challenges such as hunger, lack of menstrual health resources, and limited access to mentorship and mental health support. Through community-driven programs, we strive to restore dignity, hope, and opportunity for individuals facing difficult circumstances.
Empowered Dreams Initiative is rooted in Korogocho Slums, where we work every day to uplift vulnerable communities facing poverty, trauma, early motherhood, and lack of access to essential services. Our grassroots approach ensures real solutions tailored to Korogocho’s unique challenges.
