Our long-term vision is to move beyond short-term relief and create lasting systems that transform lives. We are building a future where children and youth from vulnerable communities are not only supported today, but are equipped to thrive independently tomorrow.
Our flagship future project is the establishment of Empowered Dreams Academy, a fully integrated, community-centered learning campus.
Due to limited space, insecurity, and poor infrastructure within informal settlements, we have identified 10 hectares of affordable land in Migori County where we plan to build a safe, permanent, and scalable school environment.
Free, quality basic education for vulnerable children, prioritizing those from Korogocho slums
Daily school meals to ensure nutrition and improved learning outcomes
Safe boarding facilities (hostels) for boys and girls
Modern classrooms and learning resources
Playgrounds, sports fields, and a swimming pool to support physical and mental well-being
School transport (vans) to ensure safe access and mobility
The Academy will offer children dignity, safety, and stability—conditions essential for effective learning and long-term success.
We feed children today so we can educate them tomorrow and empower them for life.
Our current feeding program serves as the foundation of our intervention. Hunger is one of the biggest barriers to education and development.
In the future, feeding will be:
Integrated into the school program
Supported by on-site agriculture and food production
Used as a tool to promote school attendance and retention
This approach ensures children are nourished while also reducing long-term dependency on external food donations.
To address youth unemployment and poverty, Empowered Dreams Initiative plans to establish a Vocational Training and Skills Development Center alongside the school campus.
Equip out-of-school youth and school graduates with practical, market-relevant skills
Promote self-reliance, entrepreneurship, and employability
Reduce crime, drug abuse, and hopelessness among youth
Carpentry and joinery
Tailoring and fashion design
Electrical installation and solar technology
Plumbing and construction skills
Computer literacy and digital skills
Agribusiness and modern farming techniques
The vocational center will serve youth from Korogocho, Migori, and surrounding communities.
Training alone is not enough. Our future plan includes:
Entrepreneurship training and mentorship
Support for small business start-ups
Partnerships with employers, artisans, and local industries
Life skills training including leadership, financial literacy, and personal development
Our goal is to transition youth from training → income → independence.
Our future campus is designed to be self-sustaining through:
Income-generating activities (agriculture, vocational services)
Community participation and leadership
Strategic partnerships with donors, institutions, and government agencies
We believe sustainable impact is achieved when communities are part of the solution.
A generation of children educated beyond poverty and youth equipped with skills, dignity, and opportunity. Empowered Dreams Initiative envisions a future where:
No child’s education is cut short due to hunger or poverty
Youth are skilled, employable, and hopeful
Communities move from dependency to resilience
